Luongo had 12 saves before exiting with the score tied at one, he is scheduled for an MRI on Tuesday to determine the extent of his injury.

James Reimer had 16 saves in relief of Luongo in a back and forth contest. The game went into overtime tied at four before Mathew Barzal scored the only goal in the shootout for the final margin. Denis Malgin, Aleksander Barkov, and Aaron Ekblad all scored for the Panthers. Keith Yandle also notched a goal and two assists, Vincent Trocheck added three assists. Next up for the Panthers are the Winnepeg Jets who visit Sunrise on Thursday.

The undefeated Miami Hurricanes Men’s Basketball team is back in action Tuesday as they play Boston University from the Watsco Center in Coral Gables.
