Collection and Use of Personal Information. User information provided to Rotoden is used as a source to provide users with efficient, meaningful, and personalized experience of Rotoden Services.
Users can, and are encouraged to, use Rotoden websites, and other media, to participate in contests, sweepstakes, playing games and taking quizzes, voting in polls, or providing feedback through other means. Users may choose to subscribe to one or more of Rotoden services, or may wish to engage in the online forums and communities. When accessing these services, users may be requested to provide personal identification and/or other information, in order to participate and/or receive products and services. Personal identification and information may include, but is not limited to, the User name (and/or given name), age, address, gender, e-mail address, phone number, and/or credit/debit card information. Rotoden may also wish to collect information regarding personal or professional interests, product opinions, and/or program and service opinions. Rotoden values it’s user feedback.
Through the use of particular Rotoden sites and services, and with certain promotions, users may submit information about people other than themselves. Information of another person may pertain to such things as that person’s name, mailing and/or email address, and for uses such as the sending of gifts or greetings. Personally identifiable information that may be amassed by Rotoden includes, though is not limited to, user and/or recipient’s name, address, email address, and/or telephone numbers. Rotoden reserves the right to collect non-personally identifiable information through your use of the service. This information may include, and is not limited to, browser type, operating system, IP addresses, cookies and the like, device identifiers, internet or wireless service provider, and/or location based information. Permission of access to non-personally identifiable information may be asked of you, the user, through no obligation of Rotoden.
Information Sharing. Personal information shared with Rotoden will only be communicated with third party platforms as described in this agreement. Rotoden does not, and will not, sell user personal information, nor does Rotoden authorize the acquisition, by any third party platforms, of our user’s or any visitor’s personally identifiable information. Personal information that users provide may be shared through Rotoden to third party platforms that provide services and/or assist Rotoden in business activities such as customer service, inquiry response, or contribution of products, programs, or services of interest. These sorts of third party platforms are permitted, through Rotoden, to access and/or use personal information only for the purpose of providing Rotoden and it’s users with services.

In the Event that Rotoden associates in a joint promotion with an affiliate and/or partner, Rotoden may divulge user contact and/or other necessary information with the affiliate and/or partner to be used exclusively in relation with the promotion. This information may be used in order to communicate with users, such as to notify the user of winning a contest or sweepstakes, in the event of changes made to user agreements, to fulfill a request by a user, and/or to contact a user concerning their account.
Rotoden reserves the right to share non-personal information with third party platforms such as advertising partners, including but not limited to the number of visitors to a web page or the size of an order that has been placed. This information does not include the personally identifiable information of any user.
Rotoden reserves the right to divulge user’s personally identifiable information that may be received from the user and/or from third party platforms to third party platforms whose usage is not covered by this privacy agreement that may wish to market their products and/or services to Rotoden users. Such third party platforms include, without limitation, other marketers, magazine publishers, retailers, participatory databases, and/or not-for-profit organizations.
Should a user volunteer to submit content, such as a review, or the like, they are in agreement that Rotoden reserves the right to publish such content with the user’s name, screen name, and/or other information that has been provided.
Rotoden may use non-personally identifiable information that has been collected for the purposes of improving the services design and/or publication and web content, as well as to create a more enjoyable experience for our users, and allow users a customizable experience of the service. Information regarding site usage and the offering of products, programs, and/or services is also subject to collection by Rotoden.
Collection of Information by Third Party Platforms and/or Sponsors. Rotoden web services may provide links to outside sites and/or services whose practices, privacy or the like, may be different from this service. Users may choose to access these sites and/or services in order to share content and/or other materials. Rotoden urges users to consult and familiarize themselves with each service’s policies, should they choose to access the linked site and/or service.
Contests, sweepstakes, promotions, editorial features, and/or similar activities or offers may be provided by Rotoden, which may be sponsored or co-sponsored by or presented with those of identified third parties. Through user participation in the mentioned activities, your IP address and voluntarily given personally identifiable information may be provided to the identified third parties.
Rotoden reserves the right to use third parties that have been deemed trustworthy to present or serve advertisements, which users may notice to appear on the web pages, as a means of conducting research about such advertising. This statement does not include the use of information that the third parties may collect from you, including, and without limitation, browser type, operating system, domain name, date and time of site visit, pages that have been visited. Nor does it cover the methods of such data collection by third party services.
Opting in/out. Users may choose to subscribe to newsletters and/or marketing emails from Rotoden, and reserve the right to end the subscriptions at any time. To opt out of these subscriptions, please follow the directions included within the emails in order to update the communication preferences located within your user account on the Rotoden website.
Cookies. Cookies, in reference to this policy, are small text files of information stored through the Internet browser on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are used to collect user browsing data, as well as the tracking of user preferences and profile information, and to collect general usage and volume for statistical purposes. Rotoden cookies do not collect personal or confidential information and contain no spyware or malware of any kind. Rotoden’s website and mobile application, at this point in time, do not recognize automated browser signals nor do they have similar means for the tracking of data and/or online activites. Users have the ability to refuse the collection of data through cookies by configuring their own browser settings, as well as remove existing cookies from their hard drive.
Web Beacons. Web beacons, also known as single-pixel gifs, are electronic images, and may appear on the Rotoden service. Web beacons are used together with cookies in order to collect aggregate statistics to analyze the websites usage. Web beacons may be used in emails, and allow Rotoden to recognize those emails that have been opened, and allows for the estimation of our effectiveness with customer communications and marketing.
Rotoden gathers information of how users spend their time on the service via a third party. This information is gathered in order to learn about and supply a better user experience of the Rotoden service.
Security. Rotoden is serious about the security of its users’ personal information. Sensitive information, such as credit card information, entered onto our order forms is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Rotoden follows the industry standards as generally accepted for the protection of submitted personal information that has been submitted to us, during transmission as well as once the transmission has been received. No method of transmission occurring through the internet, or being electronically stored, is guaranteed to be 100 percent secure, and therefore, Rotoden cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. Rotoden encourages its users to review, update, and correct personal information that may be maintained by us. Users may request that we delete personal information that has been stored and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or irrelevant for legitimate purposes, or are being administered in a way that infringes upon any legal obligations that may be applicable. Users may do so by contacting Rotoden as described in the section entitled “Contact Us” below. Rotoden reserves the right, upon request for elimination of information, to retain such information together with the accompanying comment and/or correction to be noted in our records. In contacting Rotoden, you, the user, may object to our further use of personal information, including complete termination of your account, should you provide compelling and legitimate grounds. Rotoden may ask for verification of identity and to be provided with other details prior to providing you with assistance regarding account information, the correction of inaccuracies, or elimination of information. Rights to review, update, correct, and/or delete user or personal information may be subject to limitation and/or to the law or jurisdiction: (I) if the user requests are abusive or unreasonably disproportionate, (II) should the rights or safety of a person or persons be violated, or (III) in the event that the material requested is involved in current or expected legal proceedings between Rotoden and the user, or wherein providing access to such materials would cause prejudice towards such proceedings, whether between us or an investigative process of unlawful activity. User’s rights to review, update, correct, and/or delete information are subject to Rotoden records retention policies and applicable laws, including those subject to statutory retention requirements.
