Maybin off to Seattle

The Ziegler trade was the first domino to fall, shortly afterwards news broke that outfielder Cameron Maybin was shipped to the Seattle Mariners. It will be the eighth team Maybin has played for in his career and seventh since just 2014. Marlins fans should expect to see him in uniform again in 2021.

Reports are the Marlins will receive a player and international bonus pool money from the Mariners in exchange for Maybin. The Marlins also kept something very important in the deal.

Fish Stripes has more on the Maybin trade and possible future plans for the Marlins. The Marlins received infielder Bryson Brigman (@BrysonBrigman) from the Mariners in the deal.
