The Marlins opened a quick two game series with the Atlanta Braves,  losing big 12-1. Starting pitcher Jose Urena got roughed up in this one, allowing five earned runs over just four innings and giving up two home runs in the process. The bullpen, which has been stellar of late, did not help the cause giving up another seven runs the rest of the way.

Fansided’s blog Marlin Maniac (@MarlinManiac) profiles the state of the team and how they are still coping and rebuilding from the tragic loss of Jose Fernandez.

Did Jose Fernandez’s Death Begin the Downfall of the Marlins?
