Return of the Miami Sports Wave!

Welcome to the Miami Sports Wave, we have been working hard to create a new and fresh way for Miami sports fans to find all of their favorite content in one place. The time is near where you won’t have to pick through dozens of sites to get the news of the day, features, and long-form articles. We will be your one stop shop for all things Miami sports.

Coming in the next few weeks we will be increasing our presence and previewing some of the exciting changes we have in store. We look forward to sharing the thoughts of great local sports writers and podcasts. Our mission is simple, give the Miami sports fan one place where they can get a variety of views from writers, podcasters, and other media members that are just as passionate about their teams as they are.

Gone are the days when you have to wait for the mainstream media to cover your favorite teams, in fact the mainstream media is venturing away from Miami sports not only locally but nationally. Outlets like the Palm Beach Post have downsized their Miami Heat coverage for example, reallocating their two main Heat reporters. Even the juggernaut ESPN no longer has a dedicated reporter for the Miami Dolphins, the only NFL team with such an arrangement.

To fill this void are the incredibly hard working bloggers who consistently put out thoughtful information and analysis, while working other careers and juggling many obligations simultaneously. We not only want to give Miami sports fans an incredible variety of content in multiple formats, but we also want to give recognition to the great local media who provide tremendous value each and every day.

All we ask of you, our readers, is to support our teams and our fantastic local journalists to spread the message. Show the mainstream that our teams matter, that we have passionate fans with an expectation to receive the coverage our favorite teams deserve.

Thank you for your support,

David Eversole
