Daily Fantasy Update: 12/14

Hello fantasy sports fans! What a wild Thursday night that was. The Chargers pulled off another amazing comeback. The game did not go exactly as planned and I’m not sure I ever would have guessed it right. If you had Mike Williams as your captain, congratulations. Our line-up with Rivers as captain did pretty well, but not good enough. To those of you who were depending on Keenan Allen last night for your fantasy playoffs…I am sorry.

Fantasy leagues and DFS are full of heart-break, but I always recommend that you keep going. In terms of DFS, however, you shouldn’t throw down big bucks everyday if your luck is bad. Maybe try some free leagues or sponsored contest. Shake it up a bit and try to get your groove back. We can help you start, with 9 NBA games on tonight and multiple sports tomorrow, you’ll be back in the winners column in no time.

NBA: 9 Games

I forgot to mention that our NBA line-up did not go so well yesterday. It was easily one of my worst in a long time. This should be better though, at least I hope so.

There are many all-stars to choose from tonight. I thought about going with Westbrook or Curry, but I’m not in a risky mood. Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the safest fantasy options available, so I had to get him in there as a fallback guy. Fox is having a great sophomore season, much improved. He will have to keep pace with the Warriors tonight, so I expect him to carry the load. Yeah, I’m taking a chance on Josh Richardson, as I wrote in the Heat-Grizzlies preview, Miami will need someone to score.

Hernangomez is a dart throw, you never know when he can have a good shooting night. The Thunder-Nuggets game  will be a battle. Williams has played well, I like his chances of having a nice game. Noah Vonleh is also not a bad option here. Myles Turner has been balling lately, he has recorded five blocks in 2 of his last 4. He is finally getting more opportunities and will have to do some work against Joel Embiid.

Looney and Mudiay are also a bit high floor, low ceiling guys, but I think I will need that tonight. Give it a shot, maybe mix it up with your all-stars if you have a better feeling about someone else.
