Daily Fantasy Update: 12/17

Hello fantasy sports fans! Another interesting Sunday in sports. Hopefully you had more success than I did. I also hope that things are looking for your team to reach the fantasy football finals. If not, it’s alright. We here for you. Forget about this horrendous season, lets try some DFS action to maybe brighten things up. We got some great NBA games on and an even better Monday Night Football game with the Saints vs Panthers.

NBA: 8 Games

I bet you just loved reading the first few names on that list; Steph Curry, James Harden, Giannis Antetokounmpo,…Zack Collins…Yeah I had cut some spending some where. I am basically putting it all in those first 3 all-stars. I did not, however, just pick random filler guys after that. These guys were all carefully chose. Collins has been great off the bench for the Blazers and I think he can continue to that tonight. Muscala is in a similar position. He should be much needed in a battle with SA.

Jevon Carter is a rookie for the Memphis Grizzlies, he is a PG. He recently made his debut the other night when they played the Rockets and his defense against Harden and Paul was admirable. He only played 22 minutes, but he showed he deserves more minutes going forward. Facing the fantastic perimeter shooting of GS, now is the time to use him over Shelvin Mack, if I am Memphis. Jerebko has been hit or miss, so I am taking a chance on him as well. Bjelica is my guy, I love his value and production. Returning to Minnesota, he should play well.

There were some other cheap players I thought of; Reggie Bullock, Thon Maker, Nick Stauskas. All potentially solid role players, but I went with the others. Now, you definitely don’t have to try this tonight, pick 2 of those 3 guys and balance it out or go with 1 and really sure up the line-up. Whatever works for you, we’ll figure it out.

NFL: Saints @ Panthers

Admittedly, I was a bit lost with this one. I actually tried a few different line-ups, one with CMC as my captain and another with the Saints defense as the captain. This is the one I went with. D.J. Moore is one of the best young wide receivers in the NFL, too me he is already the best WR on Carolina. He has big play potential and I’m hoping him and Cam Newton can hit it on a few tonight. Ian Thomas has played well in Greg Olsen’s absence. I got both QB’s, yeah I’m giving road Brees a chance. Kamara seems due for a big game, I don’t know if that’s likely tonight, you might want to go with run CMC as a safer bet. The Panthers defense has been bad, but at home on a Monday Night, maybe they can feed off the crowd.
