UM Sports Hall of Fame Event Kicks off Friday January 11th.
The University of Miami announced their inductees into the UM Sports Hall of Fame recently, including Hurricanes’ football icons Vince Wilfork and Antrel Rolle.
In addition to Rolle and Wilfork, the eight-member Class of 2019 also includes: Cesar Carrillo (baseball), Tabia Charles Collins (track & field), Dr. Jenny Krawec, (first rowing team member ever inducted), Stephen McGuire, Scott Nicolas, and Constantine Popa (men’s basketball).
To honor them and numerous other Hurricane greats, the UM Hall of Fame is collaborating with local artist Beau Bradbury to host the “Legends Never Die” art show and sale January 11-13.
Bradbury is a local legend himself, garnering international notoriety for his “Sebastian the Ibis” mural taunting Hurricane Irma.
The event kicks off Friday with an invite only VIP opening which includes a cocktail party and a chance to purchase exclusive works commemorating Hurricane legends and famous moments.
Tickets are $50 per person.
On Saturday the Hall of Fame will be open to the public from 12-7 PM with artwork from Bradbury on display and available for purchase.

This great event coincides with the Beaux Arts Festival on campus which runs Saturday and Sunday.
The “Legends Never Die” event will take place at the Tom Kearns Sports Hall of Fame Building.
